What is in the training content?
In Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Traffic Education Park, first theoretical and then applied trainings are given. Within the scope of the theoretical training, the children were asked, “What is the traffic, where should we walk? Where should we cross? What are the traffic signs that concern pedestrians? Basic topics such as the rules to be followed when using a bicycle, the rules to be followed in school busses and the rules of etiquette and courtesy in public transport are explained. On the other hand, in applied traffic trainings, all elements in traffic such as battery-operated cars, roundabouts, illuminated and unlit intersections, pedestrian crossings, and traffic signs are shown. Stating that they have instilled traffic awareness in children at a young age by educating tens of thousands of children, Mayor Zolan said, “We give traffic rules that our children will use throughout their lives, starting from a young age. Here, our children both have fun and learn. Hopefully, the trainings given at this facility will also reduce traffic accidents.
