Providing information about the High Speed ​​​​Train (YHT) lines, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu said, "95% physical progress has been achieved in the infrastructure construction works of the Ankara-Sivas YHT line. Karaismailoğlu announced that loading tests have started in the Balıseyh-Yerköy-Sivas section and when the project is completed, the railway travel time between Ankara and Sivas will decrease from 12 hours to 2 hours.

Karaismailoğlu stated that they have made 47 percent physical progress in the infrastructure works of the Ankara-İzmir High Speed ​​​​Train line, adding that they will reduce the railway travel time between Ankara and İzmir from 14 hours to 3,5 hours, when the line is finished, approximately 525 million passengers and 13,5 million tons of cargo per year at a distance of 90 kilometers. He said they wanted to move it.
