DCF Data Center Fair, which brings together information technology professionals from 29 countries from the Middle East, Europe, Gulf Region and Africa, met with its visitors at the Istanbul Expo Center. The fair, which will bring together entrepreneurial companies and their players in Turkey, will continue to contribute to Turkey's position as a regional data center. The fair will play an important role in the data center sector, which has a size of tens of billions of dollars on the borders of Turkey and the Eurasia Region, in making Turkey a country that hosts its own data. Within the scope of the conferences in DCF, the leading names of the sector announced the latest developments in both legal and technological issues. It was also emphasized that the carbon footprints of real and legal persons can now be calculated and accordingly the future of the taxation system…

Important statements were made at the conferences held within the scope of the DCF Data Center Fair, which brought together important technologies, each more important than the other, with the motto of “Turkey's Data Will Stay in Turkey”.

1.5 MILLION FUND WITH THE SMART SIGN PROJECT

Speaking at the Smart Cities session, Yalova Municipality Smart Cities Project Coordinator Yusuf Deniz İnan made important statements. Inan, who stated that they received 1.5 million funds with the smart signage project, said, “We are developing projects to turn the crisis into an opportunity within the scope of climate change and uncontrolled migration. The Paris Climate Agreement was signed in July 2021. In 2025, the gradual transition period will end. In this direction, the carbon footprints of natural persons and legal entities will be able to be calculated numerically. It will be taxed accordingly. Accordingly, the USA and Europe, which are our biggest markets, will know us accordingly. We need to prepare for this as soon as possible.

USE PERMISSION IS REQUIRED FOR THE COMMERCIALIZATION OF DATA

TÜYAD President Hayrettin Özaydın stated that TUYAD member companies created an export volume of 15 billion dollars last year and emphasized that there is no cooperative in data centers. In addition, Özaydın; “Due to KVKK's restrictions, we cannot commercialize some data. You may be hiding a piece of data very well, but if you can't get anything out of the data, if you can't enlarge the data and then turn it into a benefit, it's useless. No benefit can be obtained from the use of the data. The use related to the commercialization of data needs to be opened. Laws should be more enforceable so that the correct and full benefit from these data centers is ensured. Israel London South Cyprus has the world's largest data centers in this sense," he said.

At the fair, unique designs developed by the professionals who came together with new technology were also presented to the visitors.

CONTINUES TO WORK DATA DURING THE EARTHQUAKE

Earthquake Protection System – SP6000 Seismic Isolation Table for system rooms will take place at the fair with its remarkable design. Developed with advanced technology, the product has the ability to eliminate or significantly reduce the path of movement of damaging shock waves and vibrations. The Seismic Isolation Tray, which can be placed under technology cabinets of any size, offers a technology that has proven its superiority with its harmful effect reduction feature, which is very different from traditional methods. Designed to protect sensitive electronic components by isolating harmful shock and vibration during seismic activity, the isolated equipment continues to operate and process data during a major earthquake if all other peripheral systems (such as electricity, generator) continue to operate.

THE FIRST EARTHQUAKE REDUCTION SYSTEM IN THE WORLD

The SP9000 product, which has gained a reputation as the Seismic Floating Floor with its technology, which is the first in the world, is in the category of providing solutions for medium and large-scale data center and earthquake precautions. The raised floor system with seismic isolators, which reduces the earthquake effect by using new technology, acts as a single piece and protects it from destructive shocks during an earthquake.

DATA LOSSES ARE PREVENTED BY DOMESTIC AND NATIONAL SYSTEM

Turkey's first and only serial production, 100% domestic and national Battery Monitoring and Management System (AİS), replaces products imported from Europe, America and the Far East within the framework of its field. With the technology it has developed, the system prevents losses due to battery interruptions in critical energy infrastructures (Data Center, Airport, Industrial Plant, Marine, Petrochemical). With the AIS, which provides the opportunity to manage and keep it under control from anywhere with remote access permission, preventive activities are carried out on time and business continuity is ensured uninterruptedly.
