Rolls-Royce and Sea Machines Robotics have signed a new collaboration. Under the agreement, Rolls-Royce Power Systems and Sea Machines, a leading developer of remote ship command and autonomous control systems, will join forces to develop and sell fully and semi-autonomous ship control systems and to develop Rolls-Royce's mtu NautIQ marine automation portfolio. The combination of Rolls-Royce's propulsion and automation solutions with Sea Machines' ship control products will offer shipping customers significant benefits in terms of ship operations, safety, efficiency and environmental impact.

Advanced complete solutions offering intelligent ship control
The strategic collaboration will primarily focus on remote and autonomous ship control and situational awareness products for yachts, commercial and navy vessels. Under the agreement, Rolls-Royce Power Systems will take over the sales and service rights for current and future Sea Machines products. The two companies will also work together to develop new capabilities to provide customers with advanced complete solutions that collect and analyze all ship data and offer intelligent ship control based on this information.
