Izmir Metropolitan Municipality decided to reduce the transportation tariff by 29 percent throughout the day in order to facilitate the participation of the public in the 50 October Republic Day.
Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, on the 29th anniversary of the 98 October Republic Day, reduced the transportation tariff of the city by 50 percent. In accordance with the decision taken by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Coordination Center (UKOME), citizens will pay half of the current public transportation fee schedule throughout the day.
In honor of the Republic Day, ESHOT, İZULAŞ, İZDENİZ, İzmir Metro A.Ş. 29 percent of the current fare tariffs will be valid in İZBAN, which is operated by the TCDD-Metropolitan partnership with İzmir Tramway.
There will be no change in the existing tariffs for the Airport, Owl and Campus Student tariffs, prepaid transportation cards and Ticket 35 service.
