Karaismailoğlu: Kanal Istanbul is an International Transportation Project

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu spoke at the opening of Silivri Mimar Sinan Bridge and Short Bridge, whose restorations have been completed; Explaining that they opened the door of a new era in the transportation sector and maritime field with Kanal Istanbul, which will bring a new breath to the world maritime transportation, Minister of Transport Karaismailoğlu said that Kanal Istanbul is an international transportation project beyond daily discussions.

Karaismailoğlu said, “This project is a vision project that emerged in line with the technological and economic developments in the world and in our country, changing economic trends and the increasing needs of our country in terms of transportation infrastructures. We started the construction work with the construction of Kanal Istanbul, Sazlıdere Bridge. Halkalı-Kapikule high-speed train project within the scope of Kanal Istanbul Halkalı-We are also starting the construction of the Ispartakule section. Kanal Istanbul is an international transportation project beyond daily discussions.
