IMM President Ekrem İmamoğlutested the road between Maltepe Başıbüyük and Samandıra, which reduces the traffic flow concentrated on the D100 highway from 45 minutes to 10 minutes. Stating that the area they opened to the service of Istanbulites on October 7 is a valuable flow route, İmamoğlu said, “We think it will make people's lives much easier. I would like to thank all my friends for their hard work,” he said. Drivers will not be charged any fees for the crossing of the road, with a project cost of 285 million TL.
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) started the road project in 100, which will reduce the traffic flow concentrated on the D45 highway, between Maltepe Başıbüyük-Samandıra, from approximately 10 minutes to 2017 minutes. Here, they have also matured the process regarding the entrance and exit of Maltepe University, which is another special location. It has been a valuable bypass route. It has now become a valuable flow route for people to easily access the TEM highway on the Anatolian Side, either from the congestion on the D100 or at the Maltepe exit. We think it will make people's lives much easier. I would like to thank all my friends who contributed.”

THE DRAIN CAUSED FLOODS HAS BEEN IMPROVED
The road project between Başıbuyuk-Samandıra, which is under construction by IMM, and the D-100 highway; It will serve as 2 departure and 2 arrival divided roads. A total of 6 junctions were built at the connections of Maltepe Prison, Maltepe University and Narcity. Thus, the transportation time between Büyükyalı and Samandıra Junctions, which sometimes took up to 1 hour during peak hours of traffic, was reduced to 10 minutes. Within the scope of the works, the creek located in Büyükbakkalköy Mahallesi Kemer Sokak (Çiftlik Yolu) Hayat Su and Alkanlar Elektrik region and which causes floods in rainy times has been rehabilitated. With the widening of the stream sections, floods were prevented in sudden rains. 254 trees on the project route were transplanted.
