The construction of the highway, which will connect Gemlik's Kurşunlu District and Mudanya road, continues.
AK Party Deputy Zafer Işık, Gemlik District Governor Hasan Göç and Highways 14th Regional Director Ömer Güzel made investigations on the road construction. The delegation was accompanied by AK Party Gemlik District President Şamil Yiğit. Highways 21,5th Regional Director Ömer Güzel stated that 7 kilometers of the 14 kilometer road has been completed and said, “After the Altıntaş viaduct exit and the bridge crossing, an important part of the road will be completed. On July 1, 2023, the road is planned to be completed and opened,'' he said.
Making evaluations after the road inspection, Deputy Zafer Işık said, “The works of the road that will connect the Kurşunlu District of Gemlik to Mudanya have reached an important stage. The total cost of the road, which will bring Gemlik and Mudanya as close as the neighborhood, has been 40 million, including viaducts and expropriations, and will amount to a total of 150 million TL. The bridge is also completed. By the end of 2022, a significant part of the road will be completed. In 2023, it will become usable,'' he said.
On the other hand, the delegation also exchanged ideas for the transfer of traffic from the Gemlik entrance in the Karsak region, the overpass and the Dörtyol entrance on the Ring Road, as well as the Mudanya road.
