Kuleizmir- Game Development and Software Center, which was established to support creative and young minds and bring technology and innovation to the fore, guides young people who are passionate about game development and want to create a brand in the international market with the Publish the Game (Jam) event.
Hosted by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, with the cooperation of İZFAŞ and Digi Game, 'Publish the Game (Jam)' and 'Game Hachathon' events started after the announcement of the theme, in towerizmir- Game Development and Software Center, as well as in Fuarizmir D hall.
Publish the Game (Jam) theme 'Freedom'
The theme of the Game (Jam) game development event, which started at the towerizmir- Game Development and Software Center, was announced as 'Freedom'. Places that are symbols of İzmir, such as the Clock Tower and the Ancient City of Ephesus, will be used in the games. 25 teams from different provinces of Turkey, with a total of 8 people, will continue to play for 48 hours after the announcement of the theme. At the end of the event, they will make presentations of the games that emerged. Each participating team will be given 1.000 TL participation bonus and asset pack support by Digi Game and the games will also be published on the STEAM page.
Hackathon theme 'Rebirth'
The theme of the 'Hackathon' event held in Fuarizmir D hall and attended by game lovers consisting of young people from İzmir was announced as 'Rebirth'. Participants will continue to improve their game for 48 hours. During this time, they will also be able to receive mentor support. At the end of 48 hours, they will present their games to the jury members who are in the game industry and who are in this industry. İZFAŞ will award 5 thousand TL to the first team, 3 thousand TL to the second team, and 2 thousand TL to the third team.
With the 'Publish the Game (Jam)' and 'Game Hachathon' events, young game development enthusiasts will continue to showcase their talents at Fuarizmir until October 31st.
