TURKSTAT announced the September inflation rate as 19,58 percent. On the other hand, it announced the one-year increase rate in food inflation as 29 percent. While the minimum wage increased by 21 percent compared to last year, the price of tomatoes increased by 70 percent, the price of potatoes by 58 percent and the price of eggs by 69 percent.

Announced to Erdogan, who says the prices are very affordable

Erdogan is shopping at the agricultural credit cooperative market and says the prices are very reasonable. However, none of the products he buys in his shopping are among the daily basic nutrients. Erdogan is so alienated from everything that he has no idea that vegetables, eggs and oil are among the daily staples. As he has no idea, he is unaware that the minimum wage earner could not buy the product this year at the same rate as last year.
