Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues its asphalt paving works all over the capital in order to prevent loss of life and property, to ensure a healthy traffic flow and to drive comfortably. The Metropolitan Municipality, which broke a record by laying 2021 million 700 thousand tons of asphalt at 1 different points in the same season in 900, aims to complete a total of 3 million 500 thousand tons of asphalt paving work by the end of the year.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues its road renewal works, which have been neglected for years, with a 7/24 based working system.

In this context, a feverish work is carried out by the Metropolitan teams to prevent loss of life and property all over the city, to ensure a healthy traffic flow, and to drive safely and comfortably.

2021 TARGET: 3,5 MILLION TONS OF ASPHALT

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Directorate of Science Affairs teams continue their asphalt works throughout the city without slowing down, especially in areas that have been neglected for years or where infrastructure works have been carried out.

While the teams have been paving 2021 million 700 thousand tons of asphalt at approximately 1 different points in 900, they aim to pave 1 million 600 thousand tons more asphalt by the end of the year.

As a result of the works carried out in all Ankara districts, a total of 2021 million 3 thousand tons of asphalt paving work is planned to be completed in 500.

WORKS ON BRIDGE INTERCHANGE AND CONNECTION ROADS CONTINUE

In addition to asphalt works, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues to manufacture bridged intersections and connection roads at many points of the city.

While the construction of a total of 3 crossroads, 3 on Turan Güneş Boulevard, 1 on Samsun Road, and 7 on Aydınlıkevler, where frequent accidents occur and traffic density is experienced, the connection between Bağlıca Road and the Ring Road has come to an end.

The works for the İstasyon Caddesi Alternative Boulevard Project, which directly concerns the transportation to the Etimesgut and Sincan districts of the Metropolitan Municipality, where approximately 1,5 million inhabitants live, continue without slowing down.
