Within the scope of the İzmit Kandıra Turning Junction arrangement by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, curbs were manufactured and printed concrete pavement was built on Democracy Boulevard. Sidewalks were built on the 600-meter-long Democracy Boulevard, which provides access to the Kandıra Turn from Yahya Kaptan Mahallesi.
2.500 SQUARE METERS OF PRESSURE CONCRETE MADE
The Metropolitan Municipality, which manufactures 2 square meters of stamped concrete and borders on both sides of the road on the Izmit Democracy Boulevard, renewed the pavements of the boulevard.
INTERCHANGE GEOMETRY IMPROVED
With the arrangement it made at Kandıra Turnoff, one of the most important and busy points of Izmit traffic, the Metropolitan Municipality made the traffic flow more fluent and regular. Significant changes were also made at the junction with the Democracy Street connection. By using the passive green areas in the region, the intersection geometry was improved and the traffic capacity was increased. Vehicles coming from the D-100 can be connected to Democracy Street with two lanes. Vehicles coming to the intersection from this route can now wait in four rows at traffic lights, and the number of lanes on Democracy Boulevard has been increased.
