The "Life is Easy with Your Identity" application, which was implemented by the General Directorate of Population and Citizenship Affairs of the Ministry of Interior on September 21, 2020, attracted great attention from the citizens. With the application, the number of people whose driver's license information was transferred to the identity card increased to 2 million 21 thousand 570.
With "Life is Easy with Your Identity", the first and only application in the world, the information in the new generation driver's licenses is integrated into the chip ID cards. Thus, citizens do not have to carry a driver's license with them in traffic.
Those who have a new type of driver's license and a new type of identity card can benefit from this service free of charge when they apply to the civil registration offices with their identity cards or come to the civil registration offices to change their identity cards.
The Most Demand for the Application Came from Istanbul
Istanbul ranked first with 327 thousand 672 people across Turkey.

- Bursa followed with 63 thousand 677 people.
The application showed the most teenagers. A total of 25 thousand 441 people aged 831 and under benefited from the application. While the number of men was 1 million 516 thousand 219, this number was 505 thousand 351 for women.
