Evaluating the subject, Muzaffer Arpacıoğlu; “Our support for public transportation continues with Mersin, with our high performance, comfortable, low operating cost vehicles that offer today's technologies. We are happy to continue our service with our diesel Atak buses, after 2021 63-meter CNG Fueled Citymood and 12 10-meter CNG Fueled Citymood buses, which we offered to Mersin in the first half of 18. Our vehicles; By replacing the buses that are planned to be removed from the fleet, it will contribute to increasing passenger comfort, providing an economic advantage to the institution with its fuel advantage, and will also increase the performance of the Mersin Metropolitan Municipality transportation fleet.

Karsan has finally won the middle-size bus tender held by Mersin Metropolitan Municipality for the renewal of old buses. Offering the most suitable offer and the most ideal buses in the said tender, Karsan signed an agreement to deliver 56 8-meter diesel Atak buses to Mersin Metropolitan Municipality. It is aimed to deliver the diesel Atak buses, which are included in the tender, to Mersin Metropolitan Municipality by April 2022. It is planned that 30 of the Karsan Ataks that will be assigned in the city will be put into service in the center of Tarsus and 26 of them will be put into service in other districts.
