Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem Yüce has instructed that the free transportation application for health workers, which ended on July 2, will be valid in the city until the end of the year. Yüce said, “We are grateful to our healthcare workers who are the symbol of labor and struggle. We will continue to be with them in every aspect of life.”
The Metropolitan Municipality has launched another application that will set an example for transportation. The date of the free transportation application has been extended for the health workers who have been fighting for the health of the citizens day and night in hospitals for almost 2 years. President Ekrem Yüce has instructed that this facility will be offered by the end of the year, for the implementation that started in the country-wide period when the restrictions were applied and ended in July. With the work done on this, the date was extended to the end of 2021.

Making a statement on the subject, President Almighty stated that healthcare professionals are the symbol of the struggle during the pandemic process, and said, “Our country has been going through a difficult process since March 2020. We have lost our spouses, siblings, children, friends and loved ones. Even though our losses are decreasing day by day with the measures implemented and the power of science, the danger is not over. The symbol of this process, which has been going on for about 2 years, has been our healthcare professionals. We saw their struggle. They were separated from their families and children for days. The time has come, they worked without sleep and without rest. We extended the free travel opportunity we started for them until the end of the year. We will continue to be with them in every aspect of life.”
