Ersoy, emphasizing that the goals set by President Erdogan in the construction of AKM are very beneficial, concluded his words as follows:

“Already, he always expresses his love for Istanbul on various occasions. Being the mayor also makes a very important difference because he knows this city very well. There were three projects that they wanted me to complete very quickly in the first cabinet meeting after I took over the job. One of them was our Ankara CSO building. We finished and opened. The other was Istanbul AKM. We're done, we're opening on October 29. Of course, AKM is not only a project on its own, but also a work that has a very important contribution and effect in the transition of Beyoğlu Cultural Road from idea to practice. In this respect, the direction shown by our President has been very beneficial for us to see ahead. By the way, the third project in question is Rami Barracks. Hopefully, we will open it at the end of 2022 with the identity of Istanbul's largest library.”
