The 2nd Rail System Vehicles Workshop was hosted by Metro Istanbul. In order to reduce the purchase cost of rail system vehicles, to reduce foreign dependency in spare parts and to increase the number of competent technical personnel, the Joint Vehicle Supply Commission was established in 5 with the participation of Turkey's 2020 largest cities, Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Antalya and Eskişehir. The Commission held the 23nd Rail System Vehicles Workshop hosted by Metro Istanbul on September 24-2.

In the workshop, it was decided to continue working together in the following processes, to act jointly in the supply of rail system vehicles and vehicle components, and to provide technical support between cities.

At the meeting, where it was decided to expand the study by adding new cities to the commission, the participation of Adana Metro, a subsidiary of Adana Metropolitan Municipality, in the commission was unanimously accepted.
