TransAnatolia, Turkey's first and only race, and one of the world's biggest and most challenging races, competes on the fifth day on the track, 86 percent of which consists of special stages. In the race, which will end in Kars on September 18, pilot Furkan Kızılay and co-pilot Çağatay Bekmez are competing in the raid category in the General Tire team, which is the "Official Tire Sponsor" of the event. Furkan Kızılay said that despite their 1,5 km deviation from the route on the first day of the race, they quickly closed the gap, and that TransAnatolia could only be understood by experiencing it.
Racers also have a unique experience in TransAnatolia, which proceeds on an adventurous route covering 14 different cities under different road and weather conditions in Anatolia. Furkan Kızılay, the pilot who competed in the General Tire team in the race, said that they felt the natural conditions differently and intensely because they could travel at a maximum speed of 60 km in the raid category. For this reason, Kızılay said that he lost weight inevitably and that he could participate in the rally category next year.
