President Yüce, who followed the process in the project area, said, “While a house cannot be built in a year, we built the most important crossroads project of the city. The SGK Bridge Interchange Project, which was initiated by Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality at the entrance point to the city, to breathe in the traffic, has come to an end. Concrete for the deck was poured on the SGK Köprülü Junction, where all the surrounding areas were prepared and the operations in the bridge area were completed. The bridge section of the project, which was built with a height of 4 and a half meters, a length of 32 meters and a width of 21 meters, was completed with the final concrete process, the casting of the deck. Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem Yüce, who has been following the works that are approaching to the end in the project area, said that the bridge branches will be asphalted in the project, which he said is approaching 90 percent, and the road will be opened in the direction of Adnan Menderes Street and Orhangazi Street in 3 months at the latest.
“We are doing brain surgery, not appendicitis”
President Ekrem Yüce emphasized that they built the most important crossroads project of the city in a period of 1 year and said, “Thankfully, we are completing the project, which is very important for Sakarya and whose construction has not been realized for many years, and which has been longing for years. We are pouring the final concrete of the SGK Junction, which we laid this month last year, and our project is about to be ready. From this intersection, 3 different roads go to Adapazarı, Serdivan and Erenler. This intersection will seriously relieve the city's traffic. A house cannot be built in a year, the foundation and skeleton of the house exceeds this period. We are building the most important crossroads of the city in 1 year. This isn't appendicitis surgery, we're doing brain surgery for the city. A new brain is formed, and Sakarya traffic will be relieved in this way," he said.
“We will put our project into service within 3 months at the latest”
Stating that they are working to put the project into service within 3 months, Chairman Yüce said, “We have come to the end of our project, which we started to breathe in the traffic of Sakarya and to minimize the density in the main arteries. Now, my citizen of Sakarya will not be stuck at this point on the way to work or home. We will ensure that the traffic of Serdivan, Erenler and Adapazarı flows in the most normal way thanks to our bridge junction. Our project, which has a height of 4 and a half meters, a length of 32 meters and a width of 21 meters in accordance with the standards of the Ministry, will be put into service in due time. We aim to put our project into service within 3 months at the latest. We have been patient with our citizens and tradesmen in the region, but it was worth it.
