After both institutions introduced their activities, AKOM Director Selçuk Tütüncü gave information about AKOM's cooperation with other organizations on disasters.

Ayşem Ulusoy, who stated that this issue is given great importance by the UTIKAD Board of Directors, said that as UTIKAD, they participated and contributed to various studies carried out by AKOM; He added that UTIKAD Board Member Serkan Eren contributed to the creation of the Istanbul Airport Earthquake Response Plan.
AKOM advisor Prof. Dr. Şerif Barış stated that there should be plans for what needs to be done before and during the disaster as well as after the disaster, mentioning the importance of trainings that will raise awareness on this issue and added that he finds UTIKAD's cooperation with AKOM on disaster very valuable.
In this direction, it was decided to determine the details of the cooperation between AKOM and UTIKAD in the upcoming period and to plan training programs that will increase the awareness of the sector about disasters.
