The new Ford Fiesta is based on the proven Ford B-car architecture, which is also used by the compact SUV Ford Puma. The new exterior design of the series includes an engine hood that increases the height of the nose section and wider upper grilles. Ford's “blue oval” emblem is no longer located on the side of the hood, but inside the grille and is more visible on the road.

The new standard LED headlights complete the assertive, reliable, modern design details of the New Fordi Fiesta with its stylish and horizontal design. At the rear, the standard taillights are housed in new black frames for a more sophisticated look, while the existing LED taillights are complemented by Premium Black. Powertrains of today and tomorrow

The new Ford Fiesta offers a simple, responsive and fuel-efficient driving experience with EcoBoost 48-volt mild hybrid and EcoBoost gasoline powertrains.

EcoBoost Hybrid models, which are designed with the aim of reducing operating costs while reinforcing the pleasant and enjoyable driving experience, which is at the center of the attraction of Fiesta, have a Belt Drive Integrated Generator (BISG) instead of the standard generator; this allows for the recovery and storage of energy that is usually reduced during braking and deceleration. BISG charges a 48-volt lithium-ion, air-cooled battery.

BISG also acts as an actuation by integrating with the engine, assisting the torque during normal driving and acceleration with the stored energy and activating the vehicle's electrical auxiliary equipment. This technology can restart the engine in as little as 350 milliseconds; In order to save more fuel, it activates the Auto Start-Stop system to stop the engine in situations such as the vehicle slows down to less than 25 km/h and stops while the clutch pedal is depressed and in gear.

The 1.0-liter EcoBoost Hybrid engine of the new Fiesta is offered with a six-speed manual transmission with 125 PS and 155 PS engine power options. According to the findings of Ford's research, the new Fiesta's 4.9l/100km WLTP fuel efficiency and CO111 emissions starting from 2g/km2 provide a 125 percent improvement compared to the non-hybrid 1.0 PS 5-liter EcoBoost engine and, accordingly, In addition, it makes it possible to save up to 10 percent in urban usage. With a fuel efficiency of 5.2 l/100 km and CO117 values starting from 2 g/km, the 125 PS EcoBoost Hybrid is also offered with seven forward gears and Powershift transmission; it also enables seamless gear shifting for an optimum driving experience.

Using the technology of Normal, Sport and Eco Driving Modes, the impressive driving experiences offered by Fiesta enable drivers to adjust the accelerator pedal sensitivity, ESP system (Electronic Stability Program), traction control, shift times in automatic transmission models according to different driving styles that require different performance. The Fiesta Active model also includes Trail and Slippery Road driving modes.

Connected technologies for maximum safety and comfort

The new Ford Fiesta features driving technologies that will help increase comfort, reliability and ease of use for drivers and passengers for different scenarios, from city driving to intercity highway driving. Standard LED headlights include high and low LED headlights and daytime running lights for superior visibility. Top-class Matrix LED headlights can be adapted to different driving scenarios. 1 When vehicle sensors detect a low-speed maneuvering attempt or the operation of the windscreen wipers, the Maneuvering Light and Bad-Air Light functions are activated and automatically adjust the headlights to allow the driver to see more clearly. 1 The anti-reflective high beam uses a front-mounted camera to detect oncoming traffic and create a “reflective spot” to block rays that could shine in the eyes of other road users. While driving at night, this technology maximizes visibility, helps reduce the risk of dazzling other drivers and increases the use of high beams.

The 12.3-inch digital trip computer offered with the new Ford Fiestas allows drivers to customize and prioritize all information displays, including navigation information. In the digital instrument cluster, there is a separate area for high-priority information such as screens designed with unique themes, suitable for selected Driving Modes and driver assistance technologies.

More sophisticated technologies include Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go and Speed Sign Recognition technologies1. Both technologies are designed to provide a comfortable ride by keeping the distance from the vehicle in front. In vehicles with Powershift transmission, the system can automatically stop the Fiesta completely and automatically move it in heavy stop-and-go traffic.

In addition, Active Parking Assistant1 is able to detect parking spaces sized for the vehicle to fit in, allowing the driver to park vertically or parallelly between parked vehicles without using their hands while controlling only speed, braking and gear selection. Technologies designed to prevent or mitigate potential collisions include Blind Spot Warning System (BLIS) 1 with Cross Traffic Alert System and Active Braking System, Lane Keeping System and Assistant with Pre-Collision Active Braking System1.

Ford's communication and entertainment system SYNC 36 makes it possible to control the audio, navigation system and connected smartphones with simple voice commands. The system is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto™ and is supported by an 8-inch infotainment system. The touchscreen can be manipulated with pinch and swipe gestures and can project a 180-degree view from the available rear view camera.

The higher series includes a wireless charging compartment for smartphones and the B&O Sound System with 10 speakers, an integrated subwoofer and a 575-watt Digital Signal Processing Amplifier.
