EGO General Directorate will work in winter service program with full capacity in public transportation services (Bus, Metro and ANKARAY) with the opening of schools.
With the start of the 2021-2022 academic year, our organization has prepared a winter work schedule, taking into account the increase in passenger density, general overtime, and the start-end times of the schools.
As of Monday, 06 September 2021, when schools will open, the winter service program will be started with full capacity in public transportation services.
Service and vehicle increases will be made on 342 bus routes that are actively served, and service will be provided with 1.275 vehicles and 8.024 shuttles at the first stage.
In Rail Systems (Metro and ANKARAY), the average train service interval is 5 minutes during the morning and evening rush hours during the week; In the interim hours, it is planned to be 10 minutes on average.
In our public transportation services, additional bus and train services will be provided immediately in order to prevent our citizens from being victimized, depending on the passenger density, during the instant observations by our Company's field supervisors, Bus Fleet Tracking and Rail System Control Centers.
The departure times and routes of EGO buses, which continue to serve on 342 routes, can be accessed from the EGO CEP'TE mobile application and from the "Urban Transportation / Web Information System" section on the website of our Corporation (ego.gov.tr).
