High Speed ​​Train and Island Train Collided in Tuzla, Istanbul

In Tuzla, the High Speed ​​​​Train and the Ada train coming from the opposite direction came head-to-head on the same track. A major accident was averted when the trains stopped at the last moment.

The Ada train, which made the Adapazarı - Pendik expedition, could not stop and crashed at low speed with the High Speed ​​​​Train making the Söğütlüçeşme-Konya expedition waiting at Tuzla Shipyard Station.

While the teams that were sent to the scene due to the accident continue their work, there is a disruption in the expeditions.

In the statement made by TCDD, “The Ada train, which makes the Adapazarı-Pendik expedition, could not stop and contacted the YHT on the Söğütlüçeşme-Konya voyage, which was waiting at Tuzla Shipyard Station, and contacted the buffer at low speed. The expeditions will start soon.”

Turkish media reported that some passengers who fell off the train were injured.
