Signatures were signed for the Google Game and Application Academy, which was designed for the benefit of technology-savvy young people. Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank also attended the signing ceremony at TEKNOFEST, Turkey's space, aviation and technology festival. Noting that 2 young people will receive free education with the academy, Minister Varank said, "Game developers and application developers of the future will graduate from this academy."
A signing ceremony was held at TEKNOFEST for the “Google Game and Application Academy”, which was implemented with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Presidency of the Presidency Digital Transformation Office, in cooperation with Google Turkey, Turkey Entrepreneurship Foundation and T3 Enterprise Center.
At the ceremony attended by Minister Varank, President of the Presidency Digital Transformation Office Ali Taha Koç and Deputy Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır, T3 Foundation Chairman Haluk Bayraktar, Google Turkey Country Manager Mehmet Keteloğlu and Turkey Entrepreneurship Foundation Chairman Sina Afra signed the protocol. .
400 HOURS OF TRAINING
Making a speech at the ceremony, Minister of Industry and Technology Varank stated that an important signing ceremony was held in terms of future trends and said, “Thanks to these signatures, Google will provide training to our young people who are keen on game and application development in Turkey. 2 of our young people will be able to receive free training for up to 400 hours.” said.
MENTORING SERVICE
Minister Varank noted that the young people participating in the trainings can also receive mentoring services from the Entrepreneurship Foundation and T3 Entrepreneurship Center on how to establish their own companies, and thus they can meet with investors.

The academy, which is a comprehensive qualification program, includes an integrated and long-term training process. Thanks to the trainings and career programs that can be accessed online, scholarship holders are provided with the opportunity to continue learning from anywhere in Turkey and at any time.
7 MONTHS FREE TRAINING
Young people between the ages of 18-29 will be able to apply for free training at the academy. During the 7-month training, the participants will be given lessons in the field of game and application software.
TECHNICAL AND BUSINESS TRAININGS
Scholars will be provided with career-oriented trainings in technical (Flutter Application Development, Unity Game Development) and business (Technology Entrepreneurship, Law, Finance, Human Resources) fields to provide them with the skills they will need in the technology sector and to create their own careers.
CERTIFICATE OPPORTUNITY
Young people who receive training will be offered the opportunity to obtain a certificate from the Google Project Management Program on Coursera, whose competence is internationally recognized and will be offered in Turkish for the first time.
SAN FRANCISCO SURPRISE
In the first year of the academy, 2 graduates are targeted, provided that at least half of them are women. Academy students will come together with the leading players of the industry during their education. He will attend events such as Sector-Specific Meetings, Career Events, Inspiration Meetings and Social Skills Trainings. The winners of the Graduation Hackathlon will participate in a trip to San Francisco, the heart of the start-up ecosystem.
