According to the second quarter data of 2021 announced by the Information Technologies and Communications Authority (BTK), the number of e-signatures reached 5 million 31 thousand 726 and the number of mobile signatures reached 724 thousand 261. The e-signature, which makes life easier, will be issued by remote authentication method as of 31 December.

BTK has published its Market Data Report for the second quarter of 2021. The number of e-signatures produced increased to 5 million 31 thousand 726. The number of mobile signatures reached 724 thousand 261. In total, 5 million 755 thousand 987 electronic certificates were created. Compared to the first quarter of 2021, the number of e-signature certificates increased by 5,1% and the number of mobile signature certificates increased by 2,6 percent. The total number of certificates produced increased by 4,8 percent compared to the previous quarter and reached 5 million 755 thousand 987.

Mobile signature exceeded 724 thousand

The number of e-signature certificates, which was 2021 million 4 thousand 788 in the first quarter of 496, increased by 5,1% and reached 5 million 31 thousand 726. The number of mobile signatures, which was 2021 thousand 706 in the first quarter of 198, increased by 2,6 percent in the second quarter and reached 724 thousand 261. The total number of certificates produced increased by 4,8 percent compared to the previous quarter and reached 5 million 755 thousand 987.

E-signatures will be issued remotely as of December 31

With the e-signature, which has the same legal validity as a wet signature, the signing process, which takes weeks, takes place within minutes.
