Criminal Law Science Commission Convened

The members of the Criminal Law Science Commission of the Ministry of Justice, which was established in July last year with the aim of working on the laws that make up the criminal justice system, came together in Istanbul at a meeting attended by the Minister of Justice Gül. Members of the commission, consisting of faculty members, lawyers, members of the judiciary and Ministry bureaucrats, briefed Minister Gül about the work done so far. At the meeting, consultations were held on the work to be carried out by the commission in the coming period.

Minister of Justice Gül shared a post on the meeting on his social media account. Stating that they evaluated the steps to be taken in the criminal law legislation in his sharing, Minister Gül said, “We evaluated the targets we have achieved in the judicial reform and the steps to be taken in the criminal law legislation in the coming period with the Criminal Law Science Commission. We will continue to follow the common wisdom in reform efforts," he said.
