Bursa Metropolitan Municipality has launched the 'Accessible Tourism' application so that disabled people can see and visit the historical and natural beauties of the city more closely together with their families, like other citizens.

Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, which has made various moves, especially promotional activities in the country and abroad, in order for Bursa to get the share it deserves from tourism, has taken action to enable the residents of the city and the disabled people to see the historical and cultural riches closely. The Metropolitan Municipality, which aims to enable disabled people to get to know the important historical and touristic places of Bursa with their families, has started the 'Accessible Tourism' application in this context. The project, implemented in cooperation with the Foreign Relations Department, Tourism and Promotion Branch Directorate, and the Social Services Department Disabled Branch Directorate, aims to teach Bursa's culture and history, to create urban awareness and to draw attention to UNESCO World Heritage sites. The 'Accessible Tourism' project, where disabled individuals and their families meet with the historical and touristic values ​​of Bursa, will continue for 10 weeks. Tophane region, Muradiye Kulliye, Mudanya and Panorama 10.00 Bursa Conquest Museum are visited within the scope of the tour, which will be held on Wednesdays between 16.00:1326 and XNUMX:XNUMX.

Yusuf Maviçiçek, who had the opportunity to visit the historical and touristic areas of the city within the scope of the project, said that they were bored at home during the pandemic and that the trip made him very happy. Expressing that he was excited to be able to visit the city he lived in, Maviçiçek expressed his gratitude to Bursa Metropolitan Municipality by wishing for the continuation of such projects.
