In the İBB Technology Workshops organized in cooperation with Boğaziçi University; New generation technology trainings such as artificial intelligence, robotics, game design and coding will be given to students. 3 students who will be successful in the exam held with the participation of 500 thousand 720 students will start their training in October.
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) implements Technology Workshops in order to reduce foreign dependency in science and technology, and to contribute to the training of individuals who produce and develop technology. The trainings, which will start with the cooperation of Boğaziçi University within the body of the IMM Youth and Sports Directorate, will start in October at the Technology Workshops to be opened in Bakırköy, Beyoğlu, Esenyurt, Fatih, Ümraniye and Tuzla.
For primary school 4th and 5th graders; Computer-Free Computer Science Activities, Computer Game Design and Development, Graphic Design and Production trainings will be given and will last for 4 months. In the education of young people in the 8th, 6th, 7th and 9th grades, which will last 10 months in two terms, the courses that form the basis of computer engineering will be seen. To students; Programming and Coding, Mobile Application Development, Graphic Design, Artificial Intelligence, Robotic Applications, Project Development trainings will be given.

3 thousand 500 people applied for the IMM Technology Workshops exam. The contents of the exam were prepared by Boğaziçi University, with which IMM collaborated in Technology Workshops. Students answered Mathematics, Turkish and Science questions. In addition, problem solving and algorithm skills were also measured. 720 students who are successful in the exam will be accepted to IMM Technology Workshops.
