Ödemiş Mayor Mehmet Eriş came together with the tradesmen regarding the street and square arrangement to be made in Bozdağ together with the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality. Eriş emphasized that the works continue with the aim of four seasons tourism in Bozdağ, which is the roof of İzmir.
In Bozdağ, which offers richness to its visitors in both summer and winter seasons with its natural beauties, street and square arrangements will be made by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality and Ödemiş Municipality in accordance with the historical and natural texture. With the works to be carried out jointly on İnönü Street, where the heart of the bazaar beats in Bozdağ, the region will gain a new face with visually harmonious arrangements for tourism. The square, where Ödemiş Municipality Bozdağ service building is located, will be completely renovated.
While the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality tender preparations for the project, which also includes the producer's market, were underway, the tradesmen from Bozdağ were informed. Deputy Mayors Özay Kaptan and Feridun Azeroğlu, Bozdağ Headman Hakkı Balcı and shopkeepers attended the meeting held at the Ödemiş Municipality Waterfall Restaurant.

Mayor of Ödemiş Mehmet Eriş said, “Bozdağ has tourism potential not only in one season but also in 12 months of the year. This potential Tunç Soyer We are taking action with our President. We are preparing for an arrangement that will reveal the richness of Bozdag in Inonu Street, where the heart of Bozdag beats. Every detail has been considered for a view that is in harmony with the nature and texture of Bozdağ. When completed, Bozdağ bazaar will turn into a brand new attraction. A new face will be gained with a certain harmony and standard. The producer market, which is an important need, is also within the scope of this project.
We want Bozdağ to get the share it deserves from tourism. The avalanche prevention project of Bozdağ Ski Center has reached a certain stage. We take this into account as well. But we aim to experience the richness of Bozdağ not only with its ski resort but also with its natural beauty, history and flavors in four seasons. We will also use our municipal service building here as a promotion center.
We consider completing this project by the next spring and creating a gastronomy and accommodation center in the area also known as the butcher market as the second stage of our tourism attack in Bozdağ. While doing all these, we consider Bozdağ together with the touristic riches of our city, such as Birgi, Gölcük and Bademli. We need to bring tourism into our city economy as a new sector.
