The task of Mersin Metropolitan Municipality Fire Brigade is to control the fires in the settlements and to intervene there. The task of the Forestry Administration is to fight fires in the forest. If possible, municipalities can assist the Forestry Administration; it can provide vehicle reinforcement, human reinforcement, water support with fuel. Or, on the contrary, a huge fire broke out in a settlement, the fire brigade has difficulty in controlling this fire. The Forestry Administration is in a position to support the municipality so that the fire does not spread to the forest, especially in the border areas of the forest. Why did I give this detail? Taking up arms and fighting with people is not fighting; everyone will work, produce, their children will be educated. There will be no fighting, no division, no disintegration, no violence, no hatred. We will love each other,” he said.

Stating that Mersin Metropolitan Municipality is one of the municipalities that work intensively, Seçer said, “Under conditions such as the width of its service area, Mersin Metropolitan Municipality provides its services in a conscious, systematic and effective manner in all its districts, namely the province. There is road construction, there is road construction. There is a quality road, there is a second class road. There is quality infrastructure, there is second class infrastructure. There is a bridge to be built for 50 million, there is a tender for the same bridge for 70 million liras. In other words, I will make a quality road, and at the most reasonable price," he said.

We plan to lay the groundwork by October 29. Of course, this procedure should not be prolonged. The site will be delivered, the first financing will be provided, the company will establish its construction site and bring the necessary equipment. I think we will hit the first pickaxe too.”
Making evaluations about the central government, President Seçer said, “Look, an Airport Project is still not finished. Citizens should question this. In other words, the members of the alliance, who broke up the apocalypse in the Assembly because a street of the Metropolitan was delayed for a month, should take the microphone about the airport and say something to me in the Assembly. Antalya connection road continues for years, it is not finished yet.
