The Ministry of National Education took action to create the e-Exam center network in Turkey, where the highest number of people can receive service at the same time. By the end of 2021, 156 more will be added to the existing e-Exam halls, increasing the number in 81 provinces to 500. Thus, 11 thousand people will be able to benefit from the e-Exam halls at the same time. Stating that the usage capacity of e-Exam centers is gradually increasing, Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer said, "We are continuing our efforts to hold open secondary and high school exams at e-Exam centers next year." said.
Ministry of National Education increases the number of e-Exam centers
In 2020, there were a total of 81 e-Exam centers and 70 exam halls in 151 provinces and 194 districts. The number of people who could benefit from these halls at the same time was 4 thousand 290.
In 2021, 150 new halls were built and the number of e-Exam halls was increased to 344. The capacity of people who can benefit from the centers at the same time has been increased to 6.
With the new planning, it was decided to create 2021 new e-Exam halls by the end of 156 and increase the number of e-Exam halls in 81 provinces to 500.
500 thousand people will be able to benefit from 11 e-Exam halls at the same time. Thus, the Ministry of National Education will have the e-Exam center network in Turkey, where the highest number of people can receive service at the same time. Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer stated that many exams are held in e-exam centers, from driver's license to journeyman and mastery exams in vocational education, and reminded that exam services can be provided to other institutions in these centers. Özer noted the following: “We also conduct our practices such as the four-skill Turkish exam in these centers. Therefore, the usage capacity of our e-Exam centers is gradually increasing. The easy access of our students and citizens to these centers is very important in terms of the quality of the service we provide. For this reason, we have planned a significant increase in the number of e-Exam centers, especially in our districts, in 2021.”
In 2022, open secondary school and open high school exams will also be held at e-Exam centers.
Noting that the use of e-Exam centers will become widespread, Minister Özer said, “We are continuing our efforts to hold open secondary and high school exams at e-Exam centers next year.” said.
