Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, which has implemented projects that will increase the amount of green space per capita in addition to the environmentally friendly services it has implemented throughout the city, has started working on the project that will be the new necklace of the Gulf of Izmit. The first digging was struck in the Gölcük Değirmendere (Kuruçeşme Mevkii) Halıdere Coastal Arrangement Project.

Dr. The Gölcük Değirmendere (Kuruçeşme Mevki) Coastal Arrangement Project, which Tahir Büyükakın followed closely and consulted with the people of the region, started. In the project, where President Büyükakın stated that the project will be a new necklace for the Gulf of Izmit and a center of attraction for the region, the first excavation was struck.

IT WILL BE A CENTER OF ATTRACTION

When the Gölcük Değirmendere-Halıdere Coastal Arrangement Project with an area of ​​37 thousand 105 m² is completed, it will become the center of attraction of the region. 19 thousand m² of the project has been reserved as a green area for the citizens to have a comfortable time. In the project, which has a coastline of 350 meters, a walking and cycling path will be built for the citizens.

PICNIC AND SPORTS AREAS

In the project, which has a picnic area of ​​4 thousand m², a cafeteria, prayer room, toilet, children's playground will be established for the citizens. In addition, a parking lot for 76 vehicles will be built for citizens. In the Gölcük Değirmendere-Halıdere Coastal Arrangement Project, a 100 m² sports field, 1 basketball court and 2 tennis courts will be built for citizens to do sports.
