The final excitement has started in the International Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle Races, which continue at the Körfez Racetrack, and the Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle Races held for the first time this year.

Turkey Technology Team Foundation Chairman of the Board of Trustees & Teknofest Chairman of the Board Mr. Selçuk Bayraktar and TÜBİTAK President Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal shared the excitement of young people in electric vehicle races. Selcuk Bayraktar and Hasan Mandal, who did not leave young people alone in the competition, which aims to raise awareness about the use of alternative energies in vehicle technologies, who gave them both morale and success by wishing them success, started the first final race of the High School Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle Races. The competitions will end on September 5th.

Within the scope of TEKNOFEST Aviation, Space and Technology Festival, after dynamic test drives and technical controls in the races organized by TÜBİTAK, 65 teams in the International Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle Races and 36 teams in the High School Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle Races successfully qualified for the final races. Bayraktar, who received great interest from the students, examined the environmentally friendly electric and hydrogen powered vehicles prepared by young people, from their design to their technical equipment. In the competition, which is organized to enable students to gain knowledge and experience in electric and hydrogen-powered vehicle technologies instead of fossil fuels, which have become much more important with climate change, the vehicles that consume the least energy will reach the top in the final.
