While students are selected for the dormitories, one of which is located in Beyoğlu Örnektepe and two in Avcılar, licensed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports; A transparent and fair system was used. Scoring was created for 4 thousand 18 candidates. Being a state university student and being placed in a private university with 100 percent scholarship were among the conditions sought.
SPECIAL QUOTA FOR THE CHILDREN OF MARTYRS AND GAZIERS
In the system where 10% quota is allocated for the children of martyrs and veterans, coming from disaster areas also reflected positively on the score for settling in the dormitories. Other criteria affecting the placement score include; Being settled in university at the first entrance to the exam, total income of the family, whether the parents are alive or not, whether they are divorced or married, and being successful in international competitions were also included.
TARGET THOUSAND PEOPLE
In the first phase, 625 female students will be served in the three girls' dormitories opened in Avcılar and Beyoğlu. It is aimed that this capacity will reach 1000 people with the men's dormitory planned to be opened in Gaziosmanpaşa in the second half of the training calendar. The selection of IMM dormitories was made by prioritizing the safe environment. Proximity distances to the transportation network and universities were taken into account. In IMM dormitories, where disabled people are not forgotten, some rooms have been made accessible by equipping them with equipment and belongings that students need.
