20 animals perished when a freight train hit a herd of cattle passing through the rails in the village of Yeşilkale, Alacahan Mevkii of Sivas'n Kangal District, yesterday morning. The owner of the herd could not hold back his tears in the accident in which dozens of them were injured.
According to the information received, the incident occurred at around 10.30:XNUMX in the morning near the village of Yeşilkale in the Kangal district of Sivas. The animals grazing in the area wanted to cross over the train track. The train, which was in motion at that time, hit a large number of cattle.
It was determined that 20 cows died in the herd, body parts of 3 cows were missing, and the others were missing.
Animal owners who came to the scene experienced deep sadness. The people of the village, who stated that they lost approximately 250 thousand liras, demanded help from the state elders.
