Applications have started for IMM's 'As You Read' project, which aims to ensure that children from Istanbul continue their education and reach a bright future. With the project, financial support will be provided to the children of martyrs, orphans, orphans and disabled students for their education. Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) continues to develop the support and opportunities offered to the children of the city. Applications continue for the support project 'As You Read', which was put into use for martyrs, orphans, orphans and disabled students with the understanding of social municipality. Producing solutions based on equal opportunities, from Young University Education Aid to Suspended Bill Education Support Package, from 'Seat You', which opens the vacant place in the concert to young people, to student dormitories, İBB stands by children in need of assistance.
SALTIK: “THE SOCIAL REASONS CANNOT READ IT”
Yavuz Saltık, Head of Social Services Department of IMM, stated that they are working for a society where children and young people who cannot read due to economic and social reasons are not left, and that they want students to take their places at school desks by meeting their needs.
APPLICATIONS CONTINUE
In the 'As You Read' education support, each student will be provided with a one-time financial contribution of 300 TL within a year. In order to benefit from the support for which the condition of residing in Istanbul is sought, the conditions of citizenship of the Republic of Turkey, continuing education of the student within the normal education period, and studying at a state school or foundation/private schools with 100% scholarship will be sought.

IMM will accept applications online in order to reduce the social contact of students and their relatives under pandemic conditions. Those who want to benefit from the education support will be able to submit the necessary documents by applying at senokudiye.ibb.istanbul until September 19, 2021.
