Minister Varank visited the stand of Turkey's Automobile Enterprise Group (TOGG) at the Space, Aviation and Technology Festival TEKNOFEST. Answering the questions of the members of the press here, Varank reminded that the opening of the festival was held with great enthusiasm and said, “Our youth and their families have a great favor. At TEKNOFEST, we are trying to show our local and national technologies to our citizens, we want them to experience these technologies. We want them to see more closely what Turkey is capable of and its capabilities through aviation demonstrations.” he said.

Emphasizing that Turkey's Car was exhibited for the first time at a festival, Varank stated that there was great interest in the car. Expressing that they gave Turkey's answer to the changing automotive industry in the world with TOGG, Varank said, “Seeing the transformation in the automotive industry at an early time, it is electric, autonomous from birth and whose intellectual property rights belong to us 100 percent, so we can integrate very different technologies very easily. Explaining that they are investing in the technologies of the future, Varank said, “There is a race in the world right now, but we are making our plans considering the race 10-15 years from now. Why are we doing the National Space Program? There is a great race in space right now in the world. Private companies launch a rocket every day, sending people into space. But if we don't invest in that area from today, we will have to watch while they launch rockets. We are investing in our youth, technology and Turkey in a way that will capture the change and transformation in the world. Of course, we are concerned about saving our present, but we are also concerned with catching the future.” he said.

Emphasizing that Turkey should catch up with the transformation in the automotive industry, Varank said, “Turkey's Automobile will do this. We design and manufacture the technologies of the future with this automobile project, and our suppliers gain the ability to produce for the automobiles of the future. When Turkey's Car comes off the mass production line at the end of 2022, the whole country will be proud of this work.” said.
