The Young Art: 7th Contemporary Art Project Competition, which was organized to support contemporary art and artists in Turkey, to discover young talents and to increase innovative productions, was concluded.
In the competition organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism within the framework of Yunus Emre's promise of “There is a me in me, inside of me”, a monetary award of 157 thousand 500 liras in total will be presented.
In this year's competition held on the 700th anniversary of Yunus Emre's death, 195 works whose applications were accepted were evaluated by the selection committee.
In the competition, 5 artists who are deemed worthy of the Achievement Award will receive 15 thousand TL each, 5 artists who are deemed worthy of the Honorable Mention Award with 7 thousand 500 TL each, and 30 artists who are entitled to be exhibited will be awarded 500 TL each.
The 40 works in the competition will be presented to the exhibition at Istanbul Tarık Zafer Tunaya Cultural Center in October. The award ceremony and the collection process of the exhibition will be announced later on the website of the General Directorate of Fine Arts of the Ministry.

Young Art: Veli Aras Yalçınkaya, Kemal Kahveci, Beyza Durhan, Melis Hatice Yamur, Ezgi Şen were deemed worthy of the Achievement Award in the 7th Contemporary Art Project Competition.
Abdulvahap Uzunbay, Kübra Gürlenen, Nazire Eser Maintenance, Hilal Demirtaş and Koray Bıyıklı received the Honorable Mention Award.
The artists who are entitled to exhibit their works in the competition are Funda Çetgin, Sevgi Atan, Tuğba Aydın, Ece Kibaroğlu, Süreyya Noyan, Sevdiye Cerrahoğlu, Osman Batuhan Türker, Özgün Şahin, Melek Merve Tokuyan, İlhak Altıparmak, Selim Çınar, Öznur Şahinkaya, Uğur Bişirici, Eylül Savaş , Halil Ege Balkıs, Ali Yerli, Erdoğan Paksoy, Nazlı Yağmur Aydın, Nadide Gürcüoğlu, Gülşen Ünal, Gülçin Akbaş, Nurcan Kaya, Zeynep Merve Çiçek Mızrak, Hasret Şahin, Zeynep Kılınç, Ayşenur Pekcan, Mert Yılmaz, Muhammet Halil Alkış, Yağmur Kevser Barutçu and Space Doğan.
