519 Million Transactions Made at PTT During the Pandemic Period

Transport and Infrastructure Minister Adil Karaismailoğlu said in a statement that PTTBank, which has 4 thousand 473 branches throughout Turkey, facilitates the lives of citizens. Karaismailoğlu stated that the PTT, which provides service with 3 PttMatik, meets the demands of the citizens with 419 mobile vehicles, and continued as follows:

“In the PTTBank, which provides uninterrupted service to citizens with the measures taken during the pandemic process, 2020 million transactions were made in the period of March 2021-August 519. In the 8-month period of this year, the number of transactions reached 226 million. During the epidemic, the teams in the field were also mobilized in the distribution of aid to homes. 5 billion TL aid was hand delivered to more than 373 million 4.7 thousand households. In the same period, a total of 36 million 833 thousand aid payments were made, while the amount of the payment was 28 billion liras.

NUMBER OF HGS CUSTOMERS REACHED 15 MILLION

Emphasizing that PTT provides great convenience to citizens in banking services as well as payments, Karaismailoğlu noted that the number of PTTkarts reached 6.6 million and the number of HGS customers reached 15 million.
