A dent occurred at the metro construction site in Veysel Karani Neighborhood in Sancaktepe, Istanbul. In the incident, 1 workers were injured, one seriously.
On August 11, at around 15.30, a dent occurred in the construction area of the metro line between Sancaktepe-Çekmeköy in the Veysel Karani District. 1 workers were injured, 2 of them seriously, in the collapse.
While the police teams who came to the scene took security measures in the vicinity, 2 workers who were under the dent were rescued by other workers and handed over to the health teams. The medical teams carried out the first aid to the seriously injured workers at the scene and took them to the surrounding hospital.
The residents of the neighborhood reacted to the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality by stating that they do not have the safety of life due to the work, as well as the safety of the workers.
