General Manager Hasan Pezük, who visited the Eskişehir Training Center Directorate affiliated to the General Directorate of TCDD Taşımacılık AŞ for Safety Culture Trainings, met with the participants.
Pezük, General Manager of TCDD Transportation, who received information about the training activities, came together with the Locomotive Maintenance Workshop Managers and Assistants, Warehouse Managers, Warehouse Chiefs, Wagon Maintenance and Workshop Managers and Assistants during the Safety Culture Trainings given online.
Underlining the importance of realizing lifelong learning and increasing the quality and efficiency of education and training, Pezük: Railway freight and passenger transport is carried out within the framework of international rules and is in a great change and development as one of the fastest and most dynamic sectors. In this sense, it is necessary for the personnel to keep up with these developments with in-service training. For this reason, in-service trainings, in which safety critical personnel renew their professional knowledge and experience, are of great importance. However, within the framework of our work, we want to ensure that not only our safety-critical personnel, but also our railwaymen at all levels, are conscious of safety culture, and to establish a system in which railway rules cannot be bent.
