In particular, there were problems in terms of transportation. But from the first hours of the incident, our state, together with all its institutions, has been making a great effort to remove the traces of the disaster. Our location is Sinop Ayancik. Unfortunately, 2 bridges in Sinop Ayancık, which are very important in the city crossing, were unable to serve due to the flood. To meet the urgent needs of our citizens; Here, our KGM and DSI general directorates prepared the infrastructure of the temporary bridge production within 5 days. “There is a great, devoted and feverish work in the region”

Stating that the road crossing works between Çatalzeytin-Türkeli are planned to be completed as of this evening, Minister Karaismailoğlu continued as follows:

“We are starting the construction of the bridge there immediately. Again, we temporarily opened our bridge constructions between Türkeli and Ayancık in the region. Again, we made all our plans in Kastamonu. We provided temporary passages on the bridges of the damaged roads there. We are starting our permanent productions in all of them as of today, in the same way in Bartın. There is a great, devoted and feverish work in the region. Of course, there are very important developments in AFAD Coordination. Hopefully, we will overcome this incident and remove the traces of this disaster in a short time. From now on, we will quickly build the production structures worthy of the permanent region and return the life here to normal as soon as possible.”

“We will continue our efforts to transform our temporary works into permanent ones”

Karaismailoğlu stated that they are aware of the problems experienced in the region and that a possible disaster will not be affected by the construction of art structures, bridges and roads, and concluded his statements with the following words:

“Hopefully we will get the region back to normal. The normal course of life began somehow. We will continue our efforts to transform our temporary works into permanent ones. Life in the region is slowly returning to normal. Our ministers, institutions, municipalities, non-governmental organizations, volunteers, that is, there is a total struggle. We are removing the victims one by one. In addition, today is the anniversary of the 17 August earthquake, I wish God's mercy on our citizens who lost their lives in the earthquake and our citizens who died here in the flood, and patience for their relatives. We are in the region, and we will be in the region until life returns to normal.”
