Narlıdere Municipality has reached a happy end in the urban transformation projects it has been carrying out for many years in 4 different neighborhoods. The zoning plans prepared by the municipality were officially approved by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization! President Ali Engin said “Narlıdere's biggest dream has come true! We will implement an exemplary urban transformation project for Turkey, with consensus and common sense, without making anyone suffer.”

MINISTER INSTITUTION APPROVED

The expected news in the urban transformation projects carried out by the Narlıdere Municipality and covering the neighborhoods of Çatalkaya, Narlı, Atatürk and İnönü 2. came from Ankara. Environment and Urbanization Minister Murat Kurum officially approved the zoning plans prepared by the municipality. After the decision enters into force and the official procedures are completed, implementation zoning plans will be made.

DIRECTLY INTERESTED 15 THOUSAND PEOPLE

Narlıdere's urban transformation project; With the 43 hectare area it covers, it will be İzmir's largest transformation project and will directly concern approximately 15 thousand people. It will come to life as the first project approved by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization in recent years, after declaring it a Risky Area, and transferring the authority to the district municipality!

Narlıdere Mayor Ali Engin said, “The urban transformation project, which is Narlıdere's biggest dream, has been approved. We are counting down the days to realize one of İzmir's biggest urban transformation projects in Narlıdere! We will implement a modern and exemplary project for Turkey with social reinforcement areas without concreteizing the city, displacing or victimizing anyone. We will work with consensus and common mind, with the principles of justice, equality and transparency. I would like to thank everyone who contributed and put in the effort.”
