Turkey's largest urban rail system operator, Metro Istanbul, opened the doors of its Headquarters campus in Esenler to Istanbulites with the Open Air Cinema Days event. Metro Istanbul, which has recently accelerated its efforts to bring art to Istanbulites, organizes Open Air Cinema Days at the Headquarters campus in Esenler. The residents of the district showed great interest in the first screening of the event, which was first held on Wednesday evening, August 11 and will be held every Wednesday and Friday until the end of September.

Ozgur Soy, General Manager of Metro Istanbul, said, “There is a problem in Esenler regarding large areas where outdoor events will be held. For this reason, we want to open our campus to the use of our neighbors. We have started making plans in this direction since the first day we took office, but unfortunately we had to postpone most of them due to the pandemic. In fact, we opened the doors of our campus for the first time during the semester break to give cycling training to our children from Esenler. Now we are very excited to watch movies outdoors with our neighbors for 2 months with a wider participation. We are happy that the event attracted great interest from the first day.”

Within the scope of the event, which will continue until the end of September, a total of 21.00 domestic and foreign films will be screened every Wednesday and Friday at 15.
