TRAM LINE WILL REACH 23,4 KILOMETERS
At the entrance to Kuruçeşme, the old bridges in front of the Gümüşhaneliler Foundation and in front of the İzmit High School will be demolished and two new steel construction pedestrian bridges will be built in their place. It will be manufactured as approximately 59 meters of steel construction. A new pedestrian bridge of 52 meters long steel construction will be built in front of Acıbadem pedestrian bridge and Izmit High School. A Transformer Center will be established to provide the energy of the line. In addition, a 1-meter steel bridge will be built to enable the tram to pass to Kuruçeşme. With the completion of the Kuruçeşme tram line, the length of the tram line will reach a double line of 330 thousand 10 meters. The single-line length of the tram will reach 212 kilometers, with a 3-kilometer single-line warehouse area. With Kuruçeşme station, the number of stops will reach 23,4 and with the new construction, 16 transformer centers will serve.
