One of Turkey's most important shipyards, Kaptanoğlu Desan Shipyard is participating in the IDEF International Defense Fair with the Turkish Naval Forces' Emergency Response and Diving Training Boats and fire fighting boats with different features. The Emergency Response and Diving Training Boat (ACMB), which broke new ground in its field with a local rate of up to 72 percent, also draws attention from abroad. Emphasizing that they are ready for IDEF, Kaptanoğlu Desan Shipyard Chairman Cenk İsmail Kaptanoğlu said, “We aim to demonstrate the success we achieved with ACMB and the localization rate in our other products. Our boots, which broke new ground in their field, were met with interest in many markets abroad. We expect the same interest at IDEF”.

Kaptanoğlu Desan Shipyard, which has achieved an important project in the defense industry by achieving 72 percent locality rate in the Emergency Response and Diving Training Boats (ACMB), which it will deliver to the Turkish Naval Forces, is preparing for IDEF, Turkey's largest defense fair.

Kaptanoğlu Desan Shipyard, which is preparing to exhibit other platforms besides ACMB and fire fighting boats at the international defense fair IDEF, was also welcomed with great interest at the MilliPol Defense Fair held in Qatar.

Emphasizing that Kaptanoğlu Desan Shipyard will be present with its senior management staff to continue its success by carrying out its export-oriented works at IDEF and to promote its ships equipped with the latest technology, Cenk İsmail Kaptanoğlu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Desan Shipyard, said, “In particular, the Defense Industry Presidency (SSB) We expect the Turkish defense industry to carry out works that will show the potential and strength of the Turkish defense industry in both national and international projects by acting together with its public and private stakeholders," he said.

Cenk İsmail Kaptanoğlu, Chairman of the Board of Desan Shipyard, who underlined that they will always strive to produce with high locality rate and domestic designs, as in the Emergency Response and Diving Training Boats put into service in our Navy, said, “We support the success of our country in ship production with our locality rate of up to 72 percent. We will take our claim forward with our fire boats and other platforms developed by Turkish engineers, which have a completely domestic and national design. It is very important for us that our ships are not only produced in Turkey, but also designed in Turkey. We will always support domestic designs.”
