IMM's strong team continues to respond to forest fires that occur one after another throughout the country. The teams established from the units in charge of the IMM Emergency and Disaster Response Plan; 265 personnel were sent to the fire zones 42 days ago with 3 vehicles and equipment. In addition, in the morning hours today, fire areas; 6 veterinarians from the Veterinary Services Directorate will take medicine and cat and dog food with them.

Disaster Coordination Center (AKOM), affiliated to the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), sent its teams to the fire zones in order to respond to the fires that broke out one after another throughout the country. The teams responding to forest fires that started in Antalya's Manavgat district and Muğla's Marmaris and Bodrum districts and spread with the effect of the wind; It was established from the units in charge of the IMM Emergency and Disaster Response Plan. IMM's teams; A total of 265 personnel and 42 vehicles participate in the extinguishing efforts in the region in the most effective way.

MEDICATION AND CAT AND DOG FOOD WILL BE SENT

Tomorrow morning, 6 veterinarians from the Veterinary Services Directorate will bring medicine, cat and dog food to the regions, along with the citizens, who are victims of the fire.

AKOM TEAMS ARE DISTRIBUTED TO THE REGIONS

The AKOM teams, who set out three days ago to respond to the fires, were divided into three different branches. The information about the Antalya, Muğla-Marmaris, Muğla-Bodrum teams is as follows:

Antalya Team

The team, which set off on Thursday, consists of 101 personnel and 14 vehicles. Reaching the area in the morning on Friday, the team moved to Gazipaşa district in coordination with the Antalya Fire Department. The teams participated in the efforts to extinguish forest fires at different points in this region, especially in Sugözü road and Armutalan locations. In addition, in line with the notifications received, it also intervened in the residential fires in the region. With the extinguishing of all the fires in the region towards the morning hours on Saturday, the teams that completed their work in the region left the Gazipaşa district. The next fire extinguishing route of the teams; Alanya has Konaklı and Güzelbağ locations. In the morning, the Civil Defense Search and Rescue unit (10 personnel, 2 vehicles, 1 ambulance) from Kartal Municipality joined the team. Intervention efforts of the teams continue in Konaklı, Güzelbağ and Yeniköy locations.

AT THE FIRE SITE IN ISKI

It belongs to İSKİ, which set out on Thursday evening; The team consisting of 8 personnel and 4 vehicles reached Manavgat on Friday. Working in coordination with Antalya Water and Wastewater Administration, İSKİ reinforced the generators it took with it to 2 different clean water pumping centers in the region. In line with the needs of the teams in Muğla and Antalya, today, 101 personnel and logistics materials (fire hose, radio, etc.) were sent to the region with 1 vehicle.

Mugla Marmaris Team

The Muğla Marmaris team, which set out on the same day as the Antalya team, consists of 101 personnel and 14 vehicles. Reaching the area at noon on Friday, the team coordinated with the Muğla Fire Department. İçmeler and Hisarönü regions and intervened in the fires. Crews all night long in Armutalan, Orhaniye, Bayır, Mezargediklisi, Asparan locality, Bozburun, Hisarönü, İçmeler continued its intervention efforts in the regions. The teams, which continued their firefighting efforts in Hisarönü, Armutalan, Bayır, Camiside localities, Turunç and Dereköyü locations on Saturday, continue their challenging duties in Hisarönü Dereağzı and Karadere locations today.

Muğla Bodrum team consists of 53 personnel and 9 vehicles.
