Adil Karaismailoğlu, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, made investigations in the areas where the flood disaster was experienced after the downpour in the Ayancık district of Sinop. Making statements regarding the flood disasters that occurred, Minister Karaismailoğlu said, “Currently, evacuations are being made from Ayancık by helicopters and we are following the process. Hopefully, we will reach Ayancık as soon as possible and relieve the people there and meet their needs.”
“All teams are on alert with equipment”
Minister Karaismailoğlu, in a statement to reporters here, said that they are again faced with a disaster. Expressing that the connection to the district was cut at 5 points, Karaismailoğlu spoke as follows:
“We are currently trying to clear the way. Our friends are working hard. Again, we will try to reach Ayancık from the villages. Evacuations are currently being made from Ayancık by helicopters and we are following the process. Hopefully, we will reach Ayancık as soon as possible and relieve the people there and meet their needs. There is also negative news from Kastamonu and Bartın. There, all our friends are stationed in the region. There are also problems with the bridges there. There are also transportation problems. We are trying to solve them as well. We are in constant communication with our citizens. Hopefully, we will get through this difficult period as well.”
Minister Karaismailoğlu stated that all the teams are on alert with the equipment, and that they are in an effort to open the roads as soon as possible.
Karaismailoğlu, who stated that they received intense notices from the region, stated that they are in an effort to reach the district by opening the roads both by air helicopters and by land.
