In response to the facilitation of its international protocols and the increase in passenger demand, Emirates is increasing its flights by restarting flights to additional destinations across its European network. More connections in the UK with the resumption of Newcastle services
In the United Kingdom, Emirates continues to expand its operations, resuming flights to Newcastle Airport (NCL) from 15 October, operating four flights a week on Boeing 777-300ER aircraft from the northeast of England. Most of these cities will have one or more flights per day.
Emirates will increase the frequency of daily flights in Germany to Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Munich with a total of 31 flights per week until 50 October, making it easier for business and leisure travelers to connect to popular destinations. Flights between Düsseldorf and Dubai and between Hamburg and Dubai will also be operated with the Emirates A380 to offer more capacity between the two cities.
Beyond Europe
Emirates has announced that it will resume flights in other parts of its global network, including the resumption of flights between Male and Colombo from 1 September. This in turn will further support Maldives' tourism industry and Sri Lanka to open up for tourism. Emirates will also increase its services between Male and Dubai to four daily flights until mid-October. Other destinations whose flight frequency will increase include Muscat with four flights a week starting from 28 August and Sao Paulo with daily flights from 5 October.
