Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues its efforts to provide faster and more comfortable transportation services to the citizens of the Capital. EGO General Directorate, which is preparing to move to its main service building, has moved the 3rd Regional Bus Operation Branch Directorate to its new campus in Mamak Yakupabdal District. Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş announced on his social media accounts, "We offer many services together, from maintenance and repair workshops to nearby filling stations, in our new center equipped with the latest technology."

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, which has made many innovations in the field of transportation in the capital, continues to work by establishing modern facilities so that citizens can travel more comfortably and safely.

Announcing on his social media accounts that the 3rd Regional Bus Operations Branch of the EGO General Directorate has moved to its new facilities in Mamak Yakupabdal District, Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş said, “In order to provide a more comfortable transportation to our citizens, our 3rd Regional Bus Operations Branch Directorate is located in Mamak. We moved it to its new location. In our new center equipped with the latest technology, we offer many services from maintenance and repair workshops to fuel filling stations.”

The 3rd Regional Branch Office, which moved to its new campus in order to increase the quality of transportation services in the capital and to provide faster service, started to serve within a wide transportation network in Altındağ and parts of Çankaya and in the entire Mamak district.

347 BUS CARRY 180 THOUSAND PASSENGER ON AVERAGE

The 75 square meter campus, where the level units, administrative building, facilities, annexes and bus storage areas, fuel filling station, bus exterior washing brush and maintenance and repair workshops are located, was equipped with technological devices.

The 3rd Region Bus Operations Branch Office, which is also used as a service area, will also perform maintenance, repair, cleaning, refueling and tire maintenance of 347 buses. Stating that they will be responsible for the transportation of an average of 180 thousand passengers per year, Arslan Arslan, the 3rd Region Bus Operations Branch Manager, gave the following information about the new campus:

“Our new campus has been renovated with all its units and gained a more modern structure. In the 5rd Region, which is the second largest region among the 3 Bus Operation Branch Offices within the EGO General Directorate, we evaluate the demands of our citizens and make updates to our services within our means. Together with our 564 personnel, we will provide faster service to the citizens of the Capital.”
